Oklahoma Rising Stars® - 2008

OKLAHOMA RISING STARS -2008 CONTEST RULES:

Concert will be held on September 28th, 2008 begining at 2:00pm. Each contestant will be given tickets and promo materials and will sell to their own fan base and market themselves and their part of the show. The contestant with the most tickets sold and the most fans present, wins first prize. (Shawna Russell appears courtesy of Way Out West Records and is not a contestant.  Fat Dixie appears courtesy of FD Productions LLC and is not a contestant.)

MEETING SCHEDULE:
A meeting will be held 2:00 PM at Little River Music Valley, Tecumseh, Oklahoma Sunday August 17th, to hand out tickets, rule sheets, and flyers.

PRIZES:

FIRST PRIZE: 3 song CD demo package at Music4Life studios and produced by Tim Russell of Way Out West Records (Shawna Russell) and Dennis Dyer of Red River Productions and engineered by Lance Faulkner of Music4Life Studios, Marketing materials including custom myspace, web materials and graphics, custom Electronic Press Kit (your photos or ours), all offered by Red River Productions, and a professionally written bio by Clif Doyal of CDA Promotions-Nashville.

SECOND PRIZE: Cutaway Acoustic Guitar, gig bag and strap, offered by Music Unlimited, Shawnee, Oklahoma

THIRD PRIZE: Various gift certificates (TBA)

NOTE: All contestants will be offered the same option to sign up for the development package offered as the First Prize, but at discount pricing.
